Follow the Light - VR360

A musical trip to the stars and beyond.

An original classic Prog Rock Space Opera in the style of early Yes, Genesis or Starcastle. The music is mostly in dreamy 7/8 time Lydian mode, composed in Reaper with vocals by Synthesizer V Natalie. My first real foray into Blender for VR animation output – and still very much a newbie. 3D models from Kitbash and SuperHive. Space scenes created in Space Engine. Compositing and some animation in After Effects and Premier.

Of course, creating humans in 3D is a difficult skill to learn, and these first efforts are very basic. Hopefully that skill will improve. Also, since each frame in a 360 Blender scene takes many minutes to create, moving the camera was out of the question for this one. Maybe future videos will have more elaborate, but not too much, camera motion.
