Notice: AI Passthrough is presently in beta mode, and as such, users may encounter occasional service imperfections. The feature is currently exclusive to the DeoVR app, but it will soon be accessible on both browsers and mobile devices. Your feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated.

납테일게코 레비스(N. levis, Knob-tailed Gecko)는 호주의 사막과 건조 관목 지대에 서식하는 소형 지상성 도마뱀붙이다. 짧고 둥근 ‘납처럼 생긴’ 꼬리와 모래색 몸, 크고 귀여운 눈이 특징이다. 낮에는 굴이나 틈에 숨어 지내고, 밤에 활동하는 야행성이다.
성격이 온순하고 호기심이 많으며, 건조한 환경에 적응해 있어 사육 난이도도 비교적 낮다. 따뜻한 온도 구간과 건조한 사막형 바닥재(샌드·클레이 혼합)가 필요하며, 주 먹이는 귀뚜라미나 밀웜 같은 곤충이다.
적절히 관리하면 10~15년 정도 살 수 있으며, 독특한 외모와 소박하지만 귀여운 행동 덕분에 사막형 파충류를 좋아하는 사육자들에게 특히 인기가 많다.

The Knob-tailed Gecko (Nephrurus levis) is a small, terrestrial gecko species native to the arid deserts and scrublands of Australia. It is easily recognized by its short, rounded knob-like tail, sandy coloration, and large expressive eyes. This species is adapted for life in dry environments, often hiding in burrows during the day and becoming active at night.
Knob-tailed geckos are gentle, curious, and relatively easy to keep, especially compared to other desert geckos. They thrive in dry, well-ventilated enclosures with warm temperature gradients and sandy or clay-based substrates. Their diet mainly consists of insects such as crickets and mealworms.
With proper care, Nephrurus levis can live 10–15 years, and their unique appearance and charming behavior make them a favorite among keepers who enjoy desert reptiles.
