"Jogyesan Mountain, home to the UNESCO World Heritage site Seonamsa Temple and the equally historic Songgwangsa Temple, is a landmark representing Suncheon alongside Suncheon Bay. However, the view from the summit of the main peak, Janggunbong, is obstructed by dense trees. Descending from Janggunbong towards Jageun Gulmokjae, you'll encounter a large, boat-shaped rock on the left – this is Baebawi Rock. Ropes are attached, allowing you to climb up with equipment. Having offered my prayers at Seonamsa Temple before ascending, I climbed the rock face with anticipation, wondering what kind of southern sunrise the Buddha would reveal to me. My prayers were not in vain! Once again, I offered a heartfelt prayer of gratitude."
