THE WATERMILL OF TOMÁŠIKOVO
The watermill in Tomášikovo was built in 1893 by miller János Maticz. For more than sixty years, it served its original purpose, grinding grain until 1960. Thanks to careful restoration, the mill has been preserved in an almost original condition and today stands as a unique example of traditional water-powered milling on the Little Danube. Its historic machinery and picturesque riverside setting offer visitors a glimpse into the region's rich milling heritage.
