Experience Takasaki Byakue Daikannon in VR360.

Standing at the summit of Kannonyama at an elevation of 190 meters, Takasaki Byakue Daikannon is one of the most iconic landmarks of Takasaki.
This giant concrete Kannon statue was built in 1936 by businessman Yasusaburo Inoue. It stands 41.8 meters tall and has watched over the city for generations.

Inside the statue, visitors can enter a nine-level interior and climb by stairs up to the shoulder level.
Twenty Buddhist statues are enshrined inside, and from the upper level, wide views open out over Takasaki City and the surrounding mountains.

Long loved as a symbol of Takasaki, this gentle white Kannon is also known for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful setting through the seasons.
