[VR Walk 62] The Akou Tree and Narao Shrine in Shinkamigoto Town, Nagasaki Prefecture

This video was filmed in Shinkamigoto Town, Nagasaki Prefecture, where I stayed for work.
The akou tree, which is over 650 years old, is designated as a National Natural Monument.

According to the Shinkamigoto Town Tourism and Local Products Association website:
"The roots split into two, giving the tree the appearance of standing firmly on the ground with both feet.
It towers over the path leading to the shrine, resembling a natural torii gate."
Indeed, it truly is a natural torii gate!
