This is Episode 1 of my 400 km motorcycle journey from Kazan to Uletay, one of Russia’s biggest open-air rock festivals.

The ride begins in Kazan on a clear summer day. This first part follows the opening stretch of the route, from the outskirts of the city to the roads of rural Russia, under bright sunshine and blue skies.

No music. No narration. Just the natural sound of the motorcycle, the wind, and the road.

In Episode 2, the journey continues as the weather changes, rain arrives, and the road to the festival becomes far less welcoming.
