Santa Marta Holy Week in Seville Spain

Did you know that in Seville, Spain, there is a very special religious and cultural tradition called Holy Week, or Semana Santa?

During this week, groups called brotherhoods organize religious processions. One of these brotherhoods is the Brotherhood of Saint Martha (Santa Marta), founded in 1946 by workers from the hospitality industry — people who worked in restaurants, bars, and hotels.
