EN:
Join us as we explore an abandoned mine and its impressive main building from the 1950s, both telling a fascinating story. Mining at this site began as early as the 15th century with silver extraction, before shifting focus to iron ore, which earned the region a legendary reputation in metalworking.
In the 19th century, fluorite mining began, leading to significant expansion of the mine during the 1950s. The operation peaked in the 1960s before gradually declining in the following decades, eventually ceasing completely in 1999.
Today, the remnants of the mine are in a state of significant decay. Corroded metal floors and structurally compromised areas make entering the site dangerous. However, traces remain, such as sealed mining tunnels and old machinery, standing as silent witnesses to an industrial past.
Dive into this captivating world and experience the unique atmosphere of this historic site – perfect for urbex enthusiasts and VR adventurers
