Homenaje a Antonio Soler is built from musical material belonging to two sonatas by Antonio Soler: no. 10 in B minor, fast and virtuosic, and no. 24 in D minor, slow and cantabile. Through the use of genetic algorithms, the original material is manipulated and transformed, generating new musical material with which the piece is composed. In a certain sense, the final work is a descendant, a crossroads of Soler’s two sonatas.

A standing position is recommended.
