This amazing Deo feature uses the power of AI to turn every VR scene into AR passthrough! Now you can take characters out of VR and have them right there with you - as if they were in the same room.
Notice: AI Passthrough is presently in beta mode, and as such, users may encounter occasional service imperfections. The feature is currently exclusive to the DeoVR app, but it will soon be accessible on both browsers and mobile devices. Your feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated.
Recommended headsets:
Meta Quest 3, and Quest Pro with stereoscopic color passthrough, Pico 4 (monoscopic color passthrough).
Compatible headsets:
Quest 2, Valve Index (monoscopic black and white passthrough).
Passthrough is not compatible yet for Oculus Link cable.

Because this is a full 360° VR video, YOU are in total control of the adventure! Drag your desktop screen, swipe your phone, or look all around in your VR headset to spot 375-million-year-old crinoid fossils, ancient brachiopods, and massive limestone bedrock as we explore the gorge.
🌿 About the Devonian Fossil Gorge:
In 1993 (and again in 2008), historic floods overtopped the Coralville Lake spillway. The massive rush of water washed away tons of soil and trees in just a matter of days, unexpectedly blasting open the earth to reveal this incredibly preserved, prehistoric ocean floor. Walking here is like taking a step back in time to a period long before the dinosaurs!

For Mobile: Move your phone around or swipe your finger across the screen to look in any direction.
For Desktop: Click and drag the video window with your mouse to explore the surroundings.
For VR Headsets: Set your resolution to the highest available quality (4K or higher recommended) and simply turn your head to take in the full immersive experience.
