The Dragon Boat Festival, known as Duanwu Festival, is a traditional Chinese holiday commemorating the ancient poet Qu Yuan. Held on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, it features the exciting dragon boat races, where teams row in unison to the beat of drums in long, ornately decorated boats. The festival also includes the consumption of zongzi, which are sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves.
