Hello everyone! Today, I'm going to take you into the Plaster Sculpture Gallery of the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) — a dedicated space for first-year students to practice sketching. The gallery houses replica sculptures from around the world; with no complicated inherent colors to distract, the plaster figures allow students to focus more intently on observing structural forms and light-shadow transitions, making it an ideal place to lay a solid foundation in painting!
