Restored building for Art in NYC Chinatown featuring 20000 paper plane variations

An immersive exhibit from the Wang Contemporary and MSCHF, featuring red and gold paper with Chinese art in the shape of paper airplanes. They come from the center of the arch above and come down in a cascade of color and aerodynamic motion.

There is a word chosen from 5000 common words printed on each plane along with some characters representative of Chinese new year envelopes.
