Riverboat Shuffle 2025

In 1995, at the 25th anniversary festival, paddle steamers and saloon boats, festively decorated and adorned with flags, left their piers on the Terrassenufer. Since then, the world-unique Riverboat Shuffle, the fleet parade featuring the oldest and largest paddle steamer fleet, has been one of the most sought-after and unforgettable events of the Dresden Dixieland Festival and is unique in the world. Bands and soloists play on the historic paddle steamers and saloon boats of the Saxon Steamship Company for the evening parade cruise past the most beautiful scenes of the Elbe Valley towards Pillnitz. The event concludes with a fireworks display.

The bands Cottbusser Dixieland Stompers and Jazzcompany Chemnitz played on the 144-year-old coal-fired steamship Diesbar.
