Heading north on this legendary Pacific Northwest highway changes the whole vibe. As we push past Lake Merwin and Yale Lake, the road opens up into some of the most beautiful, rhythmic sweeping curves in the state, bordered by towering evergreens and stunning reservoir views. The DCT transmission on the NC750X absolutely shines on this stretch, effortlessly dropping gears right when I need engine braking into the corners and rolling smooth power on the exits.
