The Hukou Waterfall, located in Linfen City, Shanxi Province, China, is the second-largest waterfall in the country. The term "Hukou" literally translates to "pot mouth." As the Yellow River flows to this point, steep stone cliffs rise on both sides, and the river narrows to a shape resembling a pot, hence the name Hukou Waterfall. Upstream, the Yellow River spans 300 meters, but within a distance of less than 500 meters, it is compressed to a width of 20 to 30 meters, pouring over a precipice more than 20 meters high, embodying the grandeur of "a pot gathering the vast Yellow River."
壶口瀑布位于中国山西省临汾市，是中国第二大瀑布。黄河奔流至此，两岸石壁峭立，河口收束狭如壶口，故名壶口瀑布。瀑布上游的黄河水面宽300米，在不到500米长距离内，被压缩到20-30米的宽度，从20多米高的陡崖上倾注而泻，形成“千里黄河一壶收”的气概。
