The Shenzhen Longhua Piano Museum, located in Longhua District, Shenzhen, with a total construction area of 5,324.82 square meters, officially opened on June 22, 2025. Drawing on the collection of 258 antique pianos and over 2,000 related items from collector Xu Jingyan, the museum showcases the history of the piano across three centuries, along with musical manuscripts, performer documents, and historical footage. The museum's permanent exhibition, "Disappearance and Eternity: A Panorama of Historical Pianos," features exhibits such as an 1810 grand piano used by Haydn and a piano commissioned by King George IV of England, systematically charting the evolution of piano manufacturing techniques. The museum regularly hosts piano concerts, masterclasses, and academic lectures, and collaborates with music schools and institutions domestically and internationally to promote the art of piano. Its collection has been appraised by the Guangdong Provincial Appraisal Committee for Cultural Relics, making it the largest museum dedicated to historical pianos in Shenzhen.
