Meta Quest Pro with stereoscopic color passthrough, Pico 4 (monoscopic color passthrough).
Quest 2, Valve Index (monoscopic black and white passthrough).
Passthrough is not compatible yet for Oculus Link cable.
3D render on Unreal Engine 5.2 with DMX plug in, and Chamsys console .
I used the DMX plug-in that Unreal engine had offered some time ago.
DMX is a protocol used in light shows (concert/tv show...) .
I therefore programmed the lights on an external program to Unreal and sent my programming light to it.
I will avoid technical details, but just to tell you that I have only been on Dmx for 1 week, and have never done a light show in my life.
you can say it's a test ^^
////VR Update commentary:
I still made a VR version of this video, even if the 2d version did poor views =(.
Nilou doesn't seem to be popular (or my video sucks, that's also a possibility haha).
Always the videos where you work the most that have the least views ^^, in any case I find DMX really powerful for concert lighting.
Towards the end of the video there are some lighting bugs , the gobo ( the pattern of the light you see on wall and floor) moves too fast on the ground . i will try to find how to fix this for the other Dmx project .
Thx for Watching !
