🌊 [VR180 / 8K] Walking the Shiromaru Fishway — Upstream of Hatonosu Valley 🌊
・In Okutama, Nishitama District (Tokyo), upstream of the Hatonosu Valley along the Tama River, stands the Shiromaru Dam (officially the Shiromaru Regulating Pond Dam), built exclusively for power generation by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation.

・To solve the problem of fish being unable to migrate upstream after the dam’s completion, a dedicated fishway (Shiromaru Fish Ladder) was constructed. In this immersive VR180 video with 8K resolution and binaural audio, you’ll walk along this unique passage where nature and engineering meet.

・As you step through the cool, shaded route beside the dam, you’ll hear the sound of rushing water, your footsteps echoing in the tunnel, and the refreshing ambiance of the Tama River valley—an experience that blends human ingenuity with the rhythms of the natural world.
