Starting from the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign on South Las Vegas Blvd, we rode past the towering but empty casino resorts, past the transient and crackhead infested neighborhoods to the north -- we finally ended up at a completely deserted Fremont Street in Old Downtown Las Vegas. Potholes, construction zones, and crackheads jumping into the middle of the street were real dangers that put our bike handling skills to the test, but we prevailed.
