๐ Wander Details: Join me on a short, 1-mile wander around the block from my current home in Munggu, Bali, as I explore some of the incredible Ogoh Ogoh statues on the day before the Ogoh Ogoh Parade. This annual tradition, taking place on March 28th, 2025, is one of the most visually striking and culturally rich celebrations in Bali.
The Ogoh Ogoh are massive, hand-crafted statues representing demons and negative spirits, built in the months leading up to the parade by local communities to symbolize the purification of the island.
The energy builds as night falls when these statues will be carried through the streets in a lively parade, complete with music, dancing, and fire.
