This is a frame rate interpolation technique using the Twixtor plugin working with multiple editing software. It algorithmically boosts the framerate by creating an intermediary frame in-between based on the difference between the two. The 30FPS footage is best converted to 60FPS for enhanced smooth movements and a more stable picture. If done properly it is so precise the eye can’t distinguish the difference compared to hardware 60FPS. It’s an intense computational operation that can require hours to interpolate 60 min of 5K video. 60FPS is the minimum standard for VR videos, this is widely acknowledged by viewers.
This tutorial will introduce you to the new fish-eye standard of VR videos. Together with lens removal technique it offers more immersive VR at a higher pixel efficiency compared to standard equirectangular projection. The originally recorded fish-eye video is matched by the DeoVR video player projection mesh, based on the camera lens profile. Enjoy bigger FOV with fish eye at no extra cost on file size, rendering or video decoding resources required.

From now on you can easily stream from the Zcam K2 Pro camera to Oculus Quest and Quest 2 headsets with the help of Raspberry Pi. This brings the director's monitor view right into VR and you can adjust the scene before you press the record button. You might try recording and streaming at the same time.

In global settings we have got 180 SBS as default option for opening videos.
Developers got a great chance to integrate DeoVR with the remote control API released.
We have attached a C# demo connecting to DeoVR. Once connected, DeoVR could be controlled remotely. You could also obtain telemetry data from the player. Developers could come up with their own proxy and use different program languages as well.
JSON transfers data via TCP IP. JSON structure is described in the documentation.
