360VR - Marina Del Ray exit to ocean and setting sails - ASMR
SAILING 360
Released:
Anohter beautiful day in Marina Del Ray.Grab your headset and follow me as I push back the boat and sail past the multitude of boats in this huge marina, on the way to the breakwater we set the sails and get going.when exiting the breakwater we have to make a couple quick choices as we are not alone in the water, and want to grab the path that will have the least influence on the other boats choices, specially those under sail. since I generally leave the engine ideling for a few minutes while setting sails and until fully clear of the marina entrance, this means I can easily make adjustments and I tend to yield also in situations when I don't have to if its easier for another sailor. my biggest constraint is depth, you can hear the depth alarm popping briefly out at the end of the breakwater.Shot with TECHE 360anywhere stitched in camera to save time in post.Camera mounted on a DJI Ronin2 gimbalGimbal attached with two super clamps. one on the spray hood and the other around the grip of the gimbal.Boat is Catalina309Sails are now UKsailsBump edited in FCPx on the MacBook, then exported to 8K 360, remember in FCPx select view = only proxy to avoid pains while editing, once ready to render, change view to original media to get a high-res file. The Nadir text is a DNG file created in photoshop that is dragged on top of the video in FCPx - sailing video created by Bo Lorentzen aka sailing360 contact me for Boat VR
